Some Helpful Resources
There is a lot of “noise” out there, but not all of it is helpful. It’s important to be fully educated on the issues, but also to ensure the validity of our sources when researching any particular issue or situation.
We’ve seen a lot of discussion focused on the Board’s finances and, in particular, the health of its reserves. There is also some confusion on how to access data or reports. Scroll down for the Treasurer’s Reports, as seen in the Ocean Hills Living magazine for 2026 (you can also find them online), and see below for a quick overview of how to access OHCC’s financial reports.
How do I find financial reports online?
Virtually everything you’d like to see is instantly available on your OHCC Resident Portal. These resources are regularly updated and transparent to all!
Simply log in to your Resident Portal, and look at the blue menu bar at top. In the screenshot of the portal here, you can see that if you hover over “Boards/Villages/Communities” and then click on “OHCC Master Board”, you’ll see everything in this screenshot. This includes links to budgets, financial committee reports, financials, insurance, audits, and (of special interest lately) the OHCC Reserve Analysis Report (put together by Barrera & Co., an outside firm that specializes in community reserve studies).
Enjoy browsing through the multiple resources available here and especially on your OHCC Resident Portal!
2026 Treasurer's Reports
Van Rametta, our current Board Treasurer, publishes a monthly Treasurer’s Report in the Ocean Hills Living magazine. You can find those reports in the online editions of the magazine. Simply log in to your Resident Portal, and in the blue menu bar, hover over “Services”, then click on “OHCC Living Magazine”. We’ve also linked to them here!
Spoiler alert: We think the January report, all about reserves, is a must-read!
